About Kevin Nugent Construction
Kevin Nugent Construction has been in business since July 4th, 1973. In 1989, we became incorporated, and switched our focus from home building to union commercial/industrial/institutional work. KNC is owned and managed by the Nugent Family. KNC is affiliated and signatory with all local unions in the Kankakee/South Chicago land area.

Chad Nugent
President
Chad Nugent graduated with a risk management degree from Illinois Wesleyan in 1996. He has worked in the construction business since graduation and has over fifteen years of experience in estimating and project management.
One of Chad’s primary skills is value engineering projects to meet budget and schedule constraints. He has helped develop and run projects for companies in a variety of fields including schools, churches, restaurants, retail, and banking.
Chad was promoted to President of Kevin Nugent Construction in 2006 and continues to be involved in day to day activities within the estimating and project management departments.
Chad and his wife Mary, have five children and enjoy spending time with their kids at sporting events. He is also currently the secretary of Tenco Excavating and is an avid farmer.
Devin Nugent
Project Manager
During college, Devin worked as a laborer during the summer season, and his interest in the industry led to his decision to study construction management.
Devin received a Bachelor of Science Degree in construction management from Illinois State University in December 2003. Immediately following, he joined the family business and has been working full time since.
Devin assists with many aspects of the technical support including layout, estimating, submittals, procurement, and purchasing. Devin and his wife have five children and live in Manteno, IL
